Its all about the fabric!

When I began sewing masks I used a tennis ribbon across the top of each pleated face mask. I had a limited supply of tennis ribbon left over from long ago projects. so, eventually I began researched fabric and ribbon. I was interested in doing some masks that I wanted to wear and thus focused on finding sites that sell tennis fabric. Unfortunately, the common theme was long shipment times on custom fabric (over a month).

Previously, I had shopped on Zazzle for personalized items, wedding invitations and business cards. I decided to check out Zazzle’s custom fabric. I truly feel compelled to share that they have become my number one fabric resource! My favorite tennis fabric is the pink and green tennis fabric. Many of the custom fabrics on Zazzle come in different size options. You can purchase a swatch, a fat quarter and by the yard. When I’m uncertain of a fabric choice, I usually start out with a fat quarter. If I love it, then I’ll buy more!

Many fabrics on Zazzle offer customization. As an option, you may select the background color, type of fabric (knit,cotton,linen,etc.), change the size of the pattern, and more. For instance, I found a tennis fabric that allowed for personalization (adding text). I added my tennis travel blog name: tennistravelsite.com to my fabric. I plan on revealing my personalized mask by doing a giveaway on my website soon.

Lastly, Zazzle has a shipping option, similar to Amazon Prime. For a small price, you will receive faster shipping, for a year! I took it one step further and signed up for Zazzle Black which gives me even faster shipping (premium shipping). Originally, I did not sign up for the shipping membership. I immediately regretted it, as I paid a lot in shipping!
